Forestry education is evolving to address the complex environmental, social, and economic challenges facing our world. Recognizing the growing demand for global learning opportunities, the Asia Forest Research Centre within UBC’s Faculty of Forestry & Environmental Stewardship has developed a range of international forestry education initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. Through partnerships with leading universities and organizations throughout Asia, these programs provide students with valuable academic, professional, and cross-cultural experiences that prepare them to become globally minded leaders in forestry and environmental stewardship.
